Dogsthorpe to Ferry Meadows

Nice long walk to Ferry Meadows from our home in Dogsthorpe.

The intention was to walk to the Nene Valley railway station and get the train to Wansford but we were running out of time so we took the path along the rail track and walked round Ferry Meadows.

We had a nice cut of coffee and some cake at the meadows station then a beer and some very sugery squash at the Butterfly on the way home.

A really lovely walk that took us most of the day.
