Our hotel is halfway up a steep climb, if we turn right its up, left its down, not much down and not for very long but that's the way we went today. It was tougher than I expected and I kept trying to reroute so I lost some of the ride on Garmin

However it wasn’t very long before we hit some steep gradients, getting close to 20%. Really had to push hard and it was hot, very hot.

We headed down through the olive groves to try and find a route we had seen on Komoot, all we wanted to do was het the route and we were promised an easy fifteen miles, but they lied. After several small tough climbs we found quite by accident the world famous Spiros cafe so we stopped for a nice Greek Salad lunch. Alex got a free key ring so we were all happy.
